ABOUT TAYLOR
I’m Taylor Wallace, a mortgage loan originator with Align Lending, licensed in Michigan and Florida. I help homebuyers and homeowners understand their financing options, compare the numbers, and make decisions that actually fit their goals.
As a mortgage broker, I’m able to shop across multiple lenders and loan programs rather than trying to make every borrower fit into one company’s box.
Before I worked in mortgage lending, the industry felt complicated to me too. Rates, programs, underwriting, wholesale lending — there’s a lot happening behind the scenes that most people have no reason to understand until they need a mortgage.
That perspective has shaped the way I work with my clients today. I don’t expect you to know the terminology or figure everything out before calling me. My job is to take something complicated, explain it clearly, and help you understand your options before you make a decision.
Instead of offering one bank’s products, I work with multiple lenders and loan programs to find financing that fits your specific situation.
That means I can compare different options, guidelines, rates, and loan structures instead of automatically trying to fit you into one solution.
01
Multiple Lenders — Compare financing options across multiple lenders.
02
More Options — Explore different loan programs and structures based on your situation.
03
One Point of Contact — Work directly with me from our first conversation through closing.

I live in Michigan with my husband and our two kids, and when I’m not working with clients, I’m usually spending time with my family. Whether we’re traveling, spending time up north, golfing, or just enjoying time together, family is a huge part of my life.
That’s also one reason I understand that a mortgage isn’t just paperwork and numbers. It’s usually connected to something bigger — a first home, a move, a growing family, an investment, more financial breathing room, or the next stage of someone’s life.
I want my clients to understand what they’re doing and feel comfortable asking questions along the way.
Clear Answers
Mortgage terminology can get complicated quickly. I’ll explain the numbers and options in language that actually makes sense.
Options, Not Pressure
My job is to show you what’s available and help you understand the tradeoffs — not push you into a loan that doesn’t make sense.
Personal Communication
You’ll know who you’re working with and have someone you can contact when questions come up.
Guidance Through Closing
From application and underwriting through closing, I’ll help you understand what comes next.
